Part-time Instructor for Front-end development with ReactJS course

We are seeking a driven ReactJS Lecturer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who loves what they do and wants to share it with the world, as they will be responsible for guiding students to code, speak the language and implement their own designs by learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ideally, you are an expert in programming and have extensive industry experience.
We are seeking a driven ReactJS Lecturer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who loves what they do and wants to share it with the world, as they will be responsible for guiding students to code, speak the language and implement their own designs by learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ideally, you are an expert in programming and have extensive industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach maximum 6 hours, 2 days a week, for 4-6 weeks.
- Instructor will need to commit a few hours per week preparing lessons and materials such as slides and scripts to deliver in each class, leveraging existing Nordic Coder curriculum content.
- Assign tasks for academic advisor(s) and tutor(s) to prepare course contents, assignments and final project for students.
- Measure student progress and provide class report upon request.
- Guide students through development of a final project that will showcase their abilities to hiring managers.
- Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community.
- Inspire students to take the challenges of learning new essential skills during the entire course.
Qualifications
- You are eager to shape the skills, minds, and trajectories of eager Nordic Coder Students.
- You are the person that your colleagues naturally gravitate to when they are trying to figure something out.
- You have 3+ years of experience in ReactJS and its ecosystem.
- You must have been a Team Leader in projects related to ReactJS.
- You have strong/expert understanding in the following topics: HTML, CSS, Javascript(ES6)
Nice to have
- Experience with any front-end JS framework (Angular, Vue, Meteor, Ember, Backbone, etc.)
- Experience with UI/UX
